An application to build a 155-bedroom hotel in the middle of Syon Park was discussed at a Brentford & Isleworth planning meeting.

Brentford Cruising Club's Christmas Dinner was also a great success in the Marina Club on Saturday 7th December. Twenty-eight members dined.
John Nash (Numa Court) is expected to resume his duties as Harbourmaster on Monday 12th August. During John's illness, the Marina lock has been opened and closed by Derek Jones (Romulus Court and Brentford Cruising Club).
John and Jan (former Marina Club bar staff) are "taking over" the Marina Club Bar.
