Karen Copeland was on her way to a hairdressing appointment when she became trapped in the Numa Court lift on Saturday morning. She had wheeled her bicycle in beside her, pressed the ground floor button and felt herself start to descend. The lift went down 4 feet and then stopped abruptly. She pressed the button again. Nothing happened. She tried the button repeatedly with no effect....

On February 2nd the Mayor Boris Johnson switched on the laser sculpture at Watermans Theatre.

Repair work has started on Wednesday mornings burst water main outside the O'Brien's Pub in Brentford High Street.
This is the same water main that was completely repaired and replaced a year ago.
The High Street is now closed between Half Acre and Syon Lane, with access to the shops and residential properties only. The repair will take minimum 5 days.
We are searching out the sculptures that are in walking distance from Brentford Dock. Updated on January 13
